Anyone who knows a little about me knows that I am a music/ art snob. I love the classics and even some of the someday classics. I have a certain disdain for pop culture, especially as it pertains to Christianity. We have an incredible knack for dumbing everything down. Because of our thin intellectual veneer, Christianity is not able to create great art (there are some artists who stand out from this). We need to go deeper. Michael at Jesus Shaped Spirituality has some good points that I agree with.
