An article at DarwinCatholic, states that conservative religious folk tend not to believe in superstitions. The more left you go and the less you attend church, the more likely you are to believe in some superstitions. This is opposite of what the media would have you believe but makes perfect sense to me.

My dad met with an environmental clean-up company today (mold remediation) and they took pictures of the basement and will be working up a quote. Hopefully we will have more direction in the next couple of days.
